Every year, Innovation Fund Denmark appoints female researchers as Innowomen. The women are appointed ambassadors and will contribute to the foundation's diversity policy and be visible role models for other women.
Aasa Feragen’s research revolves around artificial intelligence – including fairness and bias in AI solutions. She leads the research project EXPLAIN-ME, which develops artificial intelligence systems that can give clinicians feedback when they train at hospital training clinics in order to ensure better diagnoses.
