Cybersecurity

Digital security is becoming increasingly more important in our everyday lives in relation to the growing digitalization of our society. DTU is the home of one of the leading research environments within Cybersecurity.

At DTU Compute, we research in Cybersecurity across our research sections and our researchers are involved in a large number of national and international research projects within security, safety and privacy - and collaborate and focus on creating technologies for the benefit of both businesses and the public sector.

Our focus on digital security of the future also forms the basis for our educational opportunities within Cybersecurity. Here we help to secure the digital society of tomorrow through the education of both graduate students in the MSc Programme in Computer Science and Engineering with specializations in Safe and Secure by Design and Computer Security, and part-time master students in Cyber Security, where the teaching shows how we design and develop secure and reliable IT systems that can handle the increasing pressure that society faces in relation to cybercrime.

Read more about our activities within education, research, and collaboration that we have gathered in the DTU Center for Digital Security (DIGISEC), which coordinates and promotes activities at DTU within digital security, and seeks to strengthen cooperation and facilitate synergy across departments and centres at DTU, which are involved in digital security.
