DTU researchers to Independent Research Fund Denmark

Four DTU researchers are among the 35 new research council members of the Independent Research Fund Denmark.

  • Aasa Feragen, professor at DTU Compute, is now a member of the Independent Research Fund Denmark's research council 'Natural Sciences’.
  • Shfaqat A. Khan, professor at DTU Space, has been reappointed as a member of the Independent Research Fund Denmark's research council 'Natural Sciences’.
  • Krist V. Gernaey, professor at DTU Chemical Engineering, is now a member of the Independent Research Fund Denmark's research council 'Technology and Production Sciences’.
  • Susanne Brix Pedersen, professor at DTU Bioengineering, has been reappointed as a member of the Independent Research Fund Denmark's research council 'Technology and Production Sciences’.

The 35 new research council members are appointed by the Board of Directors of Independent Research Fund Denmark. They will use their expertise to help identify the most excellent ideas and initiatives within Danish research. Of the 35 council members, 20 are new, and 15 have been reappointed.
