DTU researchers receive grant from the Villum Foundation

6 DTU researchers, divided into 4 projects, receive a Villum Synergy grant to strengthen the research opportunities that lie at the interface between computer science and other disciplines.

Grønnegården

The Villum Foundation is a private foundation founded in 1971. In 2021, the non-profit foundation granted approximately DKK 1.5 billion to technical and scientific research as well as environmental, social, and cultural purposes in Denmark and abroad.

Villym Synergy

Villum Synergy aims to strengthen interdisciplinary, data-driven research and is targeted at researchers in computer science, statistics, or applied mathematics in collaboration with researchers from a wide range of other disciplines.

The program was established in 2019 to connect computer science with other fields and to strengthen excellent interdisciplinary research in Denmark.
