The Division for Food Technology consists of an administrative
unit and disciplinary research groups. As head of
the Division, I do lead and administrate our activities in
close collaboration with research group leaders. Further, I lead
the innovation activities across the department.
My area of research, teaching and advisory services range from
soil to table and include food technology, biorefinery, bioeconomy,
development and innovation in high value commodity chains in
developing countries and organic farming.
I have a particular interest in innovation and collaboration
with business. The division has a large network and collaboration
with companies with the food sector. As head of division, I support
this collaboration in agreement with the university and the
departments four focus areas: research, education, research based
policy advise, and innovation in relation to companies.
