The 2017 Nils Foss Excellence Prize for innovative food research goes to DTU

On 20 November 2017, the Nils Foss Excellence Prize will be awarded to an internationally recognized researcher for achievement within food science innovation and research. The 2017 nominees for the prize are Professor Per Brockhoff, DTU Compute, and Professor Frank Møller Aarestrup, DTU Food.

New head of DTU Compute

Professor in Statistics Per Bruun Brockhoff, 52 years old, has been appointed new head of DTU Compute. He comes from the department’s Statistics and Data Analysis section and takes up his position as new Head of Department on 1 May.
