QUAITOM – The Infrastructure for QUantitative AI-based TOMography

In 2022 with a grant of DKK 11.5 million from the Novo Nordisk Foundation, DTU is now starting the work to develop a standard procedure for how images taken on e.g. MAX IV can be analyzed using artificial intelligence. The work will take place through a new research infrastructure called QUAITOM.

We are looking for a project manager to lead the work in developing the QUAITOM Platform, so if you are interested in AI for 3D Imaging and can take a leading role in creating an image analysis platform that links AI and 3D Imaging connecting software development with research check out the position here

The purpose of QUAITOM is to establish a data science infrastructure for AI-based quantitative analysis of X-ray and neutron tomography (μCT). Applying novel concepts, the power of machine learning will for the first time be made available for the very large and scientifically diverse user community within μCT imaging including biomedical and preclinical science.
