Life sciences has become a key strategic area of DTU Compute due to CACHET (Copenhagen Center for Health Technology) into a permanent centre of excellence in health technology research and innovation. The centre is internationally known for its research in medical devices, monitoring and tracking bio signals, bio sensing lab-on-chip devices, cognitive processes and social networks.

Our multidisciplinary research competencies enable us to create significant scientific progress within bioscience. This includes analyzing and understanding the biological processes in the population or at organ, tissue, cell, and gene level. Synthetic biology, i.e. the modelling and synthesis of biological processes at gene and molecular level.
