Workshop at DTU: Uncertainty Quantification for Inverse Problems

Two days of seminars December 17 and 18, 2018 about uncertainty quantification (UQ) and its use in the treatment of inverse problems.

The course takes place at DTU, the Technical University of Denmark, on the main campus in Lyngby located north of Copenhagen.

The goal of this workshop is to give the participants an introduction to the central ideas and computational methods for uncertainty quantification, with a focus on its application to inverse problems, and with illustrations from applications. The workshop is aimed at newcomers in the field, but more experienced user will also benefit from the presentations.

To register for the workshop please send a mail to workshop secretary Mette Larsen, amel@dtu.dk. There is no participation fee.

Deadline for registration is Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018.

The workshop takes place in lecture hall 49 in building 303A. We start each day at 9 am. Lunch both days, as well as dinner Monday evening, are provided by us.
