The Consulting Center - DSCC - offers statistical consulting to external individuals, institutions and companies. This requires that a contract be made, and generally the fees are according to standard commercial prices at DTU.
A contract may cover a number of hours as well as more involved long term consulting. DSCC also participates in larger projects on a collaborative basis or acts as consultants for larger DTU projects or external projects in industry or research institutions. As part of the consulting service we also offer external/internal courses in subjects of interest. This could for example be an introduction to applied statistics, statistical software like R or Stata, or a short course in design of experiments, Big Data, sparse methods, etc.
The consulting services is based on the participation of the academic staff of the section of statistics and data analysis and DTU data analysis. The section covers competencies within fields such as industrial statistics, reliability, survival analysis, data analysis/modelling, statistical quality control, big data, design of experiments, sensometrics, sparse methods and in statistical software like R, Stata, JMP, SAS, etc.
As an extra service for DTU students (primarily PhD students) and employees we offer limited consulting free of charge. This service is not covered by any funds and is therefore restricted to maximum 2 hrs. (including meeting, possible data analysis, emails, etc.) per project. If more than 2 hrs. are needed the charge will be payment per hour and co-authorship. Requests free of charge are answered in the order they are received. Please note we have limited resources for this service. Therefore, it is recommended to fill in the form in due time.
