This summer school focuses on modeling, forecasting, and optimizing the operation of distributed energy resources. Participants will learn about self-tuning models for components like photovoltaic panels and heat pumps, using weather forecasts and control variables. The course covers applications of data-driven models, including performance assessment, flexibility characterization, and fault detection, with a focus on non-parametric models and grey-box modelling with stochastic differential equations (SDEs). Hands-on exercises using R will be provided.
