The fifth annual Stu Hunter Research Conference will be held at the Comwell Borupgaard Hotel in Snekkersten (50 km north of Copenhagen) Denmark from Sunday March 5 to Wednesday March 8, 2017.
As in previous years, the Conference is by invitation only and will be limited to approximately 60 participants. Conference honoree Stu Hunter will attend the conference.
The Conference starts with a reception on Sunday evening and ends at 5 pm on Wednesday afternoon. The format is the same as previous Hunter Conferences with two speakers each day, two discussants per speaker and ample opportunity for discussion from the floor.

The hotel is located north of Copenhagen with an easy access via train. There are several ways to get to the hotel depending on how you get to Copenhagen:
Plane to Copenhagen: Upon arriving at the Copenhagen airport, take the train from platform 2 towards Helsingør. Make sure that you take the train towards Helsingør and not towards Sweden.
You can get the train ticket at the DSB counter, which is located right before the walkway towards the train platforms. The one-way ticket should cost around 50 DKK (~5 euros).
Depending on your arrival time and date, there should be trains at every 20-30 minutes towards Helsingør. The train trip takes around 1 hour and you should get off the train at Snekkersten station. The hotel is around 5-10 min walk from the train station as shown below.
Train to Copenhagen: When you arrive at the Copenhagen main station (København H), go to the main building to purchase your ticket for Helsingør from DSB counter unless your ticket from home also covers the trip to Helsingør. The train to Helsingør should be leaving from platform 1 or 2. The one-way ticket should cost around 50 DKK (~5 euros).

Traveling by car: Once you arrive to Copenhagen, the gps device will most likely guide you through highway E47 which is relatively open except for the rush hours. The hotel has limited parking spots therefore you may like to check with the hotel before your trip.
The conference fee is around 6700 DKK plus service fees for registration. This price includes accommodation for three nights (March 5, 6 & 7) and all meals from Sunday evening March 5 to lunch on Wednesday March 8. If you wish to stay extra nights, before or after the Conference, please get in touch with the hotel separately as the price we obtained is substantially reduced for the conference and may not be available for extra nights.
The registration deadline is December 31, 2016.
Cancellation Policy:
- Up until 60 days before arrival, the event may be cancelled free of charge.
- If the event is being cancelled between 30 and 60 days before the first day of arrival, we will charge 50% of the agreed price incl. VAT. - If the event is being cancelled 30 days or less before the first day of arrival, we will charge 75% of the agreed price incl. VAT.
- For no-show, late arrival or early departure, we will charge 100% of the agreed price incl. VAT.
Comwell Borupgaard is a spa hotel. You may therefore like to bring swimwear if you would like to
relax at the spa in between or after the talks.
