Open source - the superior business model
Abstract:
What is open source, and why is open source the superior business model, that will finally conquer the closed source model?
What does the concept of trust and sharing mean in the open source context, and why should Denmark be the open source nation no. 1?
The seminar will discuss open strategies and various business models, and the students will be encouraged to take active part in the discussions.
The lecturer has run open source businesses for almost two decades, and he will give examples from his own world as well as from other companies, that you normally don’t think of as open source.
This lecture is part of a series of seminars organized by the PhD school at DTU Compute, and is a part of the course 02921 ITMAN Graduate School Seminars.
